Eurobodalla Shire Council

WHY THEY NEEDED OUR SUPPORT AND WHAT THEY WANTED TO GAIN

Eurobodalla Shire Council was facing increasing requests for financial support from volunteer-driven events and needed support to rethink how it could provide more strategic, sustainable and meaningful assistance.

The course was timely in helping Council review its approach to event support, with a focus on creating more meaningful contributions and reducing reliance on direct financial contributions.

WHAT THEY GAINED FROM PARTICIPATING

Following a highly beneficial regional events course, Eurobodalla Shire Council engaged Australian Centre for Regional Events to act as an independent assessment panel member. A.C.R.E.’s experience and understanding of Council’s goals helped ensure the panel remained focused on delivering the best outcomes for the community.
