Eventfolk Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Plans and Pricing
Founding Member Annual: $299 per year (limited to the first 50 members).
Standard Annual Membership: $350 per year.
Standard Monthly Membership: $35 per month, cancellable at any time.
2. Billing and Payment
Annual memberships are billed once per year on the date of sign-up and renew automatically each year unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
Monthly memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation will stop future recurring payments but does not refund payments already processed.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By joining, you agree to provide accurate payment information and to keep it up to date.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
Members are solely responsible for managing their own membership, including cancellations, via their Circle account.
To avoid renewal charges, members must cancel before the next billing date by logging into their Circle account and cancelling their subscription.
Eventfolk, managed by the Australian Centre for Regional Events, does not accept cancellation requests via email, phone, or any other method. All cancellations must be made directly through the member’s Circle account.
No refunds will be issued for fees already charged, including renewal payments. Failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in an automatic charge which is non-refundable.
Membership remains active until the end of the paid billing period, regardless of cancellation timing.
4. Membership Access
Membership provides access to the Eventfolk community platform, including events, forums, resources, and other member benefits as outlined in the platform.
Membership benefits may be updated from time to time at the discretion of the Australian Centre for Regional Events. Members will be notified of significant changes.
5. Event Attendance and Ticketing
From time to time, members may receive access to exclusive or discounted events.
Tickets for any Australian Centre for Regional Events or Eventfolk events are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise specified.
Australian Centre for Regional Events reserves the right to change event details, including dates, times, venues, and speakers. Any significant changes will be communicated to attendees in advance.
6. Code of Conduct
Members agree to engage respectfully, inclusively and professionally within the Eventfolk community.
Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the platform without refund.
Australian Centre for Regional Events reserves the right to moderate or remove any posts or member accounts that violate the community guidelines or these Terms and Conditions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Eventfolk platform — including but not limited to webinars, articles, templates, videos, discussions, and downloadable resources — is the intellectual property of Australian Centre for Regional Events or its content contributors.
Members may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without prior written permission from Australian Centre for Regional Events or the content owner.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected during sign-up and use of the platform will be managed in accordance with Australian Centre for Regional Events’s Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

Significant updates will be communicated to members. Continued use of the platform following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Australian Centre for Regional Events makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or outcomes of any content, tools, or events offered through the membership platform.
Australian Centre for Regional Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the community or use of its content.
Australian Centre for Regional Events’s total liability for any claim in relation to a membership is limited to the total fees paid by the member for the current membership period.

Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
