What would a ‘boutique’ version of your event look like?
Have you ever considered what a boutique version of your event could look like?
Many event organisers cancelled or postponed their 2020 event, and even today worry about what sudden local lockdowns or border shutdowns might mean for their 2021 event.
This is where scenario planning becomes an event manager’s best friend.
We challenge events to think about what a boutique version of their event could look like.
What is a boutique event?
An event that is small, exclusive, niche, tailored, high end, fashionable (on trend), stylish, and/or one of a kind. Boutique events focus on high quality and exclusivity over volume and mass numbers.
What would a boutique version of your event look like?
Could you adapt your event for a smaller market?
Could you run a series of events across the year for a smaller number of attendees at each event?
Or run a combination of premium live events and online virtual events?
Or a month of events and activities for smaller crowds?
You might be brave enough to offer a one-off premium boutique event with a premium ticket price.

We would love to hear your thoughts on this idea.
